Specialized and age appropriate presentations that allow the adult or youth student to understand the dangers of tobacco use, the effects of tobacco use on the body, the dangers of second hand and third hand smoke, and the deception of tobacco advertising

Community Health Fairs

PECAT, people educating people tobacco, travels to travels to health and community fairs all over Smith, Gregg, Harrison, and Upshur counties. These opportunities give PECAT the chance to disseminate health information to East Texans to aid them in understanding the significance of optimal health

Community Outreach-

PECAT has various opportunities to allow the public to benefit from the community enrich that come from their tobacco based education. Outreach can consist of tobacco cessation, the dissemination n of health information, and community collaborations to enhance anti tobacco messages.

Environmental Strategies

Environmental changes are essential to helping a city or organization to adopt tobacco free policies and ordinances. Additionally, environment change or strategies are meant to aid a community or city to be empowered to use those tobacco prevention messages to change their community toward healthy lifestyles.
